Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy for Adults
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
You might be autistic, have ADHD, identify with both, or be wondering whether neurodivergence explains experiences you’ve struggled to make sense of. You don’t need a formal diagnosis—or certainty about the language—to start that conversation.
Maybe you’re managing what life asks of you, but the effort leaves little room for anything else. Maybe you’ve spent years studying other people, questioning your reactions, or trying to explain needs that don’t seem to require an explanation for anyone else.
Therapy can be a place to understand those experiences in context: how your brain works, what you’ve learned to expect from yourself, and what might need to change for your life to feel more sustainable.
Feeling exhausted by everyday demands, even when you appear to be managing well.
Questioning whether you’re autistic, have ADHD, or identify with both—and reconsidering your experiences through that lens.
Masking, monitoring yourself around others, or struggling to know what you need when you’re alone.
Navigating sensory overwhelm, competing needs, or the tension between wanting structure and resisting demands.
Feeling misunderstood in relationships or finding it difficult to express needs and boundaries.
Exploring how your sensory experiences, attention, and emotions affect sex and intimacy.

HOW WE WORK
Being neurodivergent is part of the context we bring to therapy. We’ll get curious about how you process information, experience emotion, respond to demands, and connect with other people—and how those experiences interact with your history and environment.
Sometimes that means questioning expectations you’ve been trying to meet for years. Sometimes it means recognizing a need earlier, communicating a boundary, or finding a way through conflict that leaves room for how you actually process. We can explore what you want to change and where you need more support or accommodation.
Our sessions are collaborative and active. I’ll ask questions, offer observations, and help you notice patterns. We can make room for uncertainty, ask for clarification, and adjust the pace. You don’t need to arrive with your feelings already organized or know how to explain everything before we begin.
I’m a Washington Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I also hold a Neurodiversity Sexuality Professional Certification from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes, which informs my work at the intersection of neurodivergence, sexuality, and relationships.
My work draws from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT). Together, we can explore the stories you’ve learned about yourself, understand conflicting feelings and protective responses, and make sense of patterns in your relationships.
You can come to individual therapy to work on relationships, sex, or intimacy without a partner participating. There is room for those conversations here alongside identity, burnout, grief, trauma, and everyday life.
