Sex Therapy for Adults and Relationships

SEX + INTIMACY

Online sex therapy for adults and relationships throughout Washington State.

Sex can bring up questions that are difficult to ask anywhere—even in therapy. You might be navigating differences in desire, changes in pleasure or sexual functioning, uncertainty about what you want, or a sense that sex has become pressured or disconnected.

You can come on your own or with a partner. You don’t need a particular kind of relationship, the right vocabulary, or a clearly defined “sexual problem” to begin.

As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I offer space to explore sexuality with curiosity and without judgment. Together, we can make sense of what’s happening and what you want your relationship with sex to look like.

WHAT WE MIGHT WORK ON

There’s room to talk about it.

  • Differences in desire, including conflict about how often sex happens or who initiates.

  • Changes in sexual interest, arousal, orgasm, or pleasure.

  • Sex that feels pressured, routine, disconnected, or difficult to enjoy.

  • Communicating wants, boundaries, fantasies, and uncertainty.

  • Exploring kink, sexual identity, or interests you haven’t felt comfortable discussing.

  • Understanding how neurodivergence and sensory needs shape intimacy.

  • Navigating the effects of health changes, disability, aging, or trauma on your sexual life.

HOW WE WORK

Understanding what sex means for you.

We’ll explore what happens around sex: what you notice in your body, what you anticipate, what feels pleasurable or uncomfortable, and what sex has come to mean for you. Your relationships, health, sensory experiences, history, and the messages you’ve absorbed about sexuality all belong in that conversation.

When partners want different things, we can get curious about each person’s experience without treating either person’s level of desire as the correct one. We’ll pay attention to consent, pressure, and the patterns that develop between you, while making room for closeness that each person freely chooses.

Sex therapy is talk therapy. Sessions don’t involve sexual contact or nudity. We may discuss things to explore between sessions, guided by your goals, comfort, and consent. When a concern could benefit from medical evaluation or another specialist’s care, we can discuss how that support might fit alongside our work.

TRAINING + EXPERIENCE

What I bring to the work.

I’m an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and a Washington Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I also hold a Neurodiversity Sexuality Professional Certification from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes, which informs my work with sensory differences, communication, desire, and intimacy.

My approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy. We can explore the emotional patterns around sex, conflicting wants or protective responses, and the stories you’ve learned about what your sexuality should look like.

My work is LGBTQ+ affirming, kink-affirming, and welcoming of consensually non-monogamous relationships. We’ll make room for your values and relationship agreements without assuming there is one right way to experience sexuality or build intimacy.
